Fries were good. Corned Beef was very fatty on my Reuben.

Hell of a place with a hell of a name. Nothing but good booze and good times.

LOVED!! First time and was completely impressed! Clean, great see ice, and the food was AMAZING!! Appetizer: Nachos with creamy Queso, loaded high 🙂Hubbies Entre: Meatloaf that was out of this world, stuffed with cream cheese, wrapped in bacon, covered with a smokey delish BBQ sauce! Home made mashed potatoes, crispy/salted onion rings. My Entre: taco mac and cheese, so creamy and tasty!! Never been here before but now one of our top destinations...who knew 😉 Will definitely be back!!!

Awesome place! So worth our two hour drive and not having to wait at the Airport.

Ordered Prime Rib special, medium, it came out with grill marks on the face... They were able to turn prime rib into low grade steak! And unless you know the bartenders personally, don't plan on prompt service, they cater only to the regulars.

Emotional manager overstepped her bounds and asked me to leave when I had done nothing. I asked for a reason and was told I upset customers. I had not talked to anyone other than the guy beside me right before he went to the bathroom (visible bathroom and he was in there while they confronted me) and there were only 5 people there. l did not even look at the others. Dead bar with children running it. Good luck. Plenty of racism and homophobia as well.

My wife and I took my niece and nephew out for dinner to Gippers. We had to wait to be waited on because the bar tender was busy and She was the waitress, also. But let me tell you, we had terrific service. I had ordered a half order of boneless wings but she must of misunderstood me because she brought wings on the bone. I told her we had ordered boneless wings. We told her that it was ok, that we settle for the wings on bone. Well she brought us the boneless wings anyway. My wife asked about Sangrea wine and the waitress fixed it right up. I had the Oberon beer, which is great. I had Perch, my wife had cod, my nephew had full rack of ribs, and my niece had a rueban sandwich. Everything was perfect and recommend Gippers to all. Thank you, Gippers, for the GREAT time.

Basic. They stopped offering free peanut baskets. In fact they stopped carrying peanuts at all. Chips and cheese were just"ok". Cheese sauce was bland and skimpy.Apps were expensive, NOT generous portions. Service was pretty slow at 330 on Friday. If I'm going to spend 50$ on drinks and snacks, I want a better return on my investment.

Gippers is great! I live near by. They are very dependable and very supportive of whatever kind of mood you are in. Great place great music. Great drinks.

Atmosphere and food was awesome

It was my Birthday 1.4.1964Turned 56. The 80's and 90's music did the job for my soul. My youngest brother, DJ Poon kicked out the proper vibes.The atmosphere and ambiance was on point.The attraction was dead on.I recommend Grand Rapids to get out to be entertained and served every Saturday

Great place for food the Rib fall right off the bones, great band on Friday night that I was there and the service was wonderful....I will return for the food and for a fun time...

Flew in to town and found this bar. Such a great atmosphere and had a great deck! Jessica at the bar was great. Definitely a must see!

Food is amazing! Staff is wonderful! Prime rib portion is ample and flavor divine! I received it cooked perfectly to my request, something I rarely get. This steak's quality puts Ruth Chris' to shame! I've had their burgers, too. Again, cooked perfectly. My go to beef place in GR!

nice local place with a nice group of folks behind the bar. the bar tenders on Monday night were understaffed, but they hustled to take care of everyone during Monday night football. yummy wings and cold beer...hard to beat that. will dedinitely be back

We chose Gippers because my new coworker recommended it. I wish I could remember our server's name, she was really fantastic! Gippers is one of those restaurants that when you take the first bite, you make an inappropriate noise! It was delicious! The kiddo had chicken strips, they are not your standard frozen strips, my 11-year-old about fell out of his chair! (He thought our server was pretty and was on his best behavior and being very polite. He was floored when she brought him a drink refill before he even asked for it. You know the place is good when an 11-year-old is impressed!). My better half did the build a burger and he was bursting and satisfied! I had the chimichanga and I think I'll get 4 meals out of that thing! The queso on top: mouthwatering! We sat on the deck. Great ambiance. Forgot pics. Sorry. Great service, great food, good beer and drinks. Definitely go!

A great place for dancing, karaoke, or in this case, getting together with friends for euchre! Great food, large space, outdoor patio, pool, live music - they have it all!

This is a classic bar. Not a great selection of craft beers. Live music on a Wednesday was nice. Otherwise the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired.

Went for trivia and it was a blast! Ryan did a great job. The service however was terrible. After ordering our drinks we didn’t see our waitress for an hour. We had to ask another waitress if we could order food after 20 minutes. When it was time to leave there were no workers anywhere. After my husband stood at the bar for 10 minutes a server finally came out to give us our bill. We shouldn’t have had to go to the bar to ask for our check to begin with. We will go back for the trivia but will make sure to eat beforehand. 5 stars for trivia, 0 stars for service.

The music was awesome... food was great... service was alright but there place was packed and servers are busy...i will be checking them or again

Food was good and drinks were reasonably priced. The service was somewhat slow but there were about 35 of us so I'll let it pass.

Good food, a little pricey,clean friendly environment

2 Hearted Ale on tap. Free refills on sodas. For a bar, they have pretty good food. I like their perch, on Fridays its "all you can eat perch for only $16.00. It's close to home and the prices are reasonable.
